I was born and raised just south of Los Angeles
I majored in Creative Writing (Poetry) at USC
I got my MA in Creative Writing (Poetry) at UNH
I decided against my previous plan of being a professor
I started freelance designing and trouble-shooting computer networks

I co-founded Emergent Analytics which was a "big data before it was called big data" modelling firm.
